Professional Registration

Midwifery, Nursing, Osteopathy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry

In order to register to practice in these courses, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)  standards for English language must be met. For more information refer to AHPRA.

Nursing and Midwifery

To register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia graduates must meet language test requirements, within the two year period prior to application for registration, either Academic IELTS 7.0 with no less than 7.0 in any band, or a Pass at "B" level in each of the four components (reading, writing, listening and speaking) of the Occupational English Test (OET) for Nurses.

Social Work

To register with the Australian Association of Social Works (AASW), graduates are required to provide evidence of English Language proficiency to a level of Academic IELTS of 7.0 in each component. Refer to Australian Association of Social Workers for more information.
