Northern Rivers Year 9 Taster Day

The Taster Day event is an immersive experience where prospective students can explore our course areas through 30-minute fast-paced interactive sessions.

Year 9 students considering university education can attend. Coordinate with your Guidance Officer or Career Advisor to arrange a group visit from your school. Please have your Guidance officer or Career Advisor register through our event page.

School staff can register online through our university's event page by filling out the registration form, indicating the number of students attending from your school, selecting the desired campus, and submitting the form. A confirmation email with further details will be sent.

Bring an open mind, and we recommend bringing a packed lunch or money to buy food from our coffee shop.

The Taster Day event is free of charge, providing an opportunity for you to explore your academic interests without any financial barriers.

Please wear your school uniform and enclosed shoes to ensure safety, especially for the exciting workshops conducted in our cutting-edge labs.
