Alumni Survey - Terms and Conditions

1. All information on ‘how to enter’ forms part of the Terms and Conditions.

2. By submitting an entry into the Competition, you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

3. The Promoter is Southern Cross University, (ABN 41 995 651 524; CRICOS Provider: 01241G) a body corporate incorporated under the Southern Cross University Act 1993 (NSW), of Military Road, East Lismore, NSW 2480, Australia P: 1800 72 4357 (the “University”)

4. The Competition commences on 29/01/2024 10:00 am (AEST) and will continue until 15/03/2024 10:00 am (AEST) (the “Competition Period”).

Eligibility

5. Entry is open to any individual who has completed the Southern Cross University 2023 Alumni Survey.

6. Employees and their immediate families of the University are not eligible to enter the Competition.

7. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, will not be eligible to win.

8. The University reserves the right to verify entries and may disqualify any entrant who does not comply with the terms and conditions.  

How to enter 

9. To enter, Eligible Entrants must complete the Southern Cross University 2023 Alumni Survey and opt to enter the Competition.

10. Eligible entrants may enter the Competition only once. 

Consent and Privacy Statement

By entering into the Competition, you agree and acknowledge that:

11. The University will use your personal information including your name and email for the purpose of participation in the Southern Cross University Alumni Survey Giveaway Competition. Participation in the Competition is voluntary.

12. We will otherwise treat your information confidentially and will not use or disclose your personal information for another purpose without your consent unless we are required to do so by law. To access or update your personal information please contact the Southern Cross University Alumni team on alumni@scu.edu.au.

13. The University will keep your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Management Plan. Information on how the University manages personal information can be found at scu.edu.au/privacy or contact the Privacy Officer at privacy@scu.edu.au. 

Winning the prize 

14. The prize is one of four $250 Visa gift cards.

15. The winners will be chosen at random on 18/03/2024 from all entries made within the Competition Period. The winners will have their details published on scu.edu.au.

16. The winners will be notified via email by 18/03/2024 and sent one digital $250 VISA gift card.

17. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable. 

18. In all matters, all decisions of the University will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
