A/r/tographic living inquiry through visual and textual propositions with speaker, Professor Rita Irwin

You are invited to our next Dean's Keynote Series event, on Friday, 8th November 2024.

The Dean's Keynote Series theme for 2024 is 'Disrupting and transforming education'. We welcome all to attend this most important series of events.

Abstract

In recent a/r/tographic research, many are turning to propositions as ways to move forward with their research inquiries. In this presentation I will share two studies in which visual and textual propositions became prominent forms of sharing new ways of knowing or coming to know. I hope this approach to a/r/tography and perhaps other forms of arts based educational research inspires inquirers to think through visual and textual concepts as they conceptualize, organize, and disseminate their work.
