Onshore applicants who currently hold a non-student visa (for example, Visitor (600), Graduate (485), Temporary Activity (408) or similar) and want to study on a student visa will generally be asked to meet the offshore eligibility requirements for their country of citizenship.

You must complete and submit a SOP with your application. You must substantiate the claims in your SOP as instructed. If this is not provided and you meet the course academic and other requirements, Admissions Officers may provide an offer conditional on the submission and review of your SOP.

You must complete and submit a financial declaration with your application. You may be asked to substantiate the information in your declaration before your application is finalised.

You must meet the course academic and ELP requirements to qualify for an offer. The academic and ELP requirements are listed on the course pages.

You can provide digital copies of your academic transcripts with your application. ELP evidence should be submitted where required.

SCU may issue a conditional offer.

You must provide an explanation for any study gaps longer than 2 months (except for the end of the year gap between November and February). You may be asked to substantiate your explanation of your study gaps.

Students who have completed less than 6 months of their principal course require a release from their current institution in Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS).

Bridging visa holders must provide a copy of their substantive visa application. Please note that SCU will confirm your bridging visa status on VEVO directly.

If your current visa is expired over 25 days, we will not be able to provide an offer letter.
