Human Rights Day

The UDHR is a milestone document that proclaims the inalienable rights which everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. 

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights empowers us all, it establishes the equality of dignity and worth of every person. Its principles are as relevant today as when they were first developed. The declaration reminds us of the importance of standing up for our own rights and those of others.
