Role

Student Volunteer - Orientation
On-campus
The on-campus Orientation role involves assisting with event prep, welcoming new students to campus during O-week, supporting student engagement events. 
The Term 3 dates are Monday 24 - Friday 28 June. 


Student Volunteer - SCU Mates 
Peer support for commencing first year undergraduate students to help ensure new students feel welcome and supported at SCU.

Student Volunteer - Sport
Assisting with sport and recreation events.

Each year we rely on enthusiastic, organised and dedicated volunteers to get involved in our many sports program.

One opportunity is serving as a Sport Manager for the Representative sport at a University Championship Program. Our Sport Team Managers provide a vital link between athletes and the University.

Do you have other ideas on how you can support first-year students? We would love to hear them! Let us know your skills and passions and we can work together to create a volunteer opportunity that suits you. For example, we have art students leading an art workshop for new students. Apply today and select 'other' and we will reach out to discuss volunteering options with you. 

Training

Mandatory Student Volunteer Training: Tuesday, 18 June 2024 10am - 11am, Gold Coast
This will be a great opportunity to meet other volunteers and student leaders. You will also receive an e-coles gift voucher for your time.
 
All on-campus volunteers are required to attend.
