Dr Jill Freyne is an experienced industry leader, bringing a wealth of expertise in strategic decision-making, innovation, and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Healthcare Industry Lead at AWS Australia, Jill plays a pivotal role in driving technology adoption and fostering partnerships to advance the digital transformation of Australia’s healthcare sector.
Jill previously served as Deputy Chief Scientist at CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, and Deputy CEO of the Australian eHealth Research Centre where she gained extensive experience in research strategy and translation.
Jill is the Deputy Chair of the NSW Smart Sensing Network, and a member of the Industry Advisory Board at Griffith University contributing her skills in governance and strategic oversight to organizations focused on research, education, and technology. Her ability to navigate complex challenges and build consensus has made her a trusted advisor and valued contributor to organizational success.
