Biography
Associate Professor Kellie Toohey is a distinguished Clinical Exercise Physiologist academic at Southern Cross University (SCU), where she is dedicated to fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation in research. She has made significant contributions, leading and contributing to research across cancer care, exercise physiology and in teaching and learning initiatives in health higher education. With extensive research expertise in cancer and clinical exercise physiology across the lifespan, Associate Professor Toohey actively engages both nationally and internationally. Her roles include serving on the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia's (COSA) Exercise and Cancer Executive Committee and the Publications Committee for Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). A passionate mentor, she also supervises Honours and Higher Degree Research (HDR) students on various projects, nurturing the next generation of researchers in her field.
