Southern Cross University issues Student ID Cards to all students. The card remains valid while you are a student and should be carried with you whenever you are on campus. You must read the terms and conditions of Student ID Card use before you submit a Photo ID Card Request Form PDF.

You need an ID Card to:

  • Borrow from the Library
  • Attend examinations
  • Access computer labs and other approved University buildings after hours
  • Use the student printers at Lismore and Gold Coast campuses.

You must also read the Printing and Copying Services Terms and Conditions before you use the printing facilities and the Library rules before using the Library. See also the Photo ID Card - Terms and Conditions of Use.

Obtaining your Student ID Card

In person

Complete a Photo ID Card Request form and bring it to one of the locations listed on the form. We'll take your photo and issue you with the card while you wait. Please also bring with you some other form of photographic identification (such as a driver's licence or passport).
