Southern Cross University is a vibrant University with beautiful campuses at Lismore, Coffs Harbour and the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads. The University operates The Hotel School Sydney in partnership with Mulpha Australia.
The University grew out of the Lismore Teachers College (1970), later the Northern Rivers College of Advanced Education (1973) and was formally established as a University on 1 January, 1994. We have around 16,000 students studying on campus, by distance education or with one of our educational collaborators in Australia or overseas, welcoming students from more than 80 countries around the world.
