Projects Coordinator, Student Engagement and Retention Team
Nadine E. White joined SCU in 2007 as a researcher for the Australian Regional Tourism Research Centre in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. She later moved to the Regional Futures Institute within the School of Business, and on to the Centre for Children and Young People (CCYP) in the School of Education. Nadine has also enjoyed teaching undergraduate students within the School of Business and Tourism.
Nadine continues to work with Professor Anne Graham at the CCYP on discrete projects, including ARC research projects, around student wellbeing and educational outcomes. However, Nadine's primary role at SCU is as Projects Coordinator for the Student Engagement and Retention Team, in the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education), a role which she shares with Gemma Spears.
She has published book chapters, journal articles and reports in a variety of fields of research, including national Climate Change Policy, Local Government, Indigenous Ecotourism and Student Wellbeing. Nadine is a University Medalist, and holds a Bachelor of Environmental Tourism Management, a Bachelor of Business (First Class Honours), and postgraduate qualifications in Research Management, all awarded at SCU Lismore.
I work Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Lismore for the Student Engagement and Retention Team. For anything urgent please email firstname.lastname@example.org, otherwise you can reach me on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at email@example.com, or 02 6620 3272.
I work on discrete projects for the Centre for Children and Young People. The CCYP contact number is 02 6620 3605, email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
