Maree has completed the Associate Degree Information Technology at Southern Cross University Coffs Harbour Campus.
Maree works as Support Officer for the Student Learning Centre (SLC) at CHEC. The Support Officer is responsible to the Executive Director of IT&TS through the Manager for CHECiT and for service delivery, to the SLC Management Committee, who in turn are responsible to the Campus Executive.
The role consists of the setup and maintenance of hard ware and installation of software images on SLC machines. Some machines are specialised i.e. setup to facilitate scanning and video editing. The Support Officer also maintains the portable equipment such as note book computers and digital cameras, and maintains the web based booking system which was setup by TAFE IT project students.
The Support Officer facilitates bookings for the use of the centre and its equipment and provides assistance to staff and students in the use of the SLC equipment and SLC specific software such as Photoshop and Premiere and facilitates services such as colour printing.
