International Linkages and Pathways to SCU
To allow you to more easily gain entry into SCU International courses and to determine, in advance, the amount of credit (advanced standing) you may receive for your previous learning, the University has approved a range of Qualification Linkages and Pathways for international students.
How much credit will I receive for my prior learning?
All Linkages and Pathways that provide credit for prior learning into specific SCU courses (including Education collaborations; International Qualification Credit Linkages and AQF Vocational Qualification Credit Linkages) are detailed in the International Qualification Credit Linkage and Pathways document:
International Qualification Linkages and Pathways
Please electronically copy and save the relevant page of the International Qualification Linkages and Pathways document identifying the credit arrangements agreed by SCU and your prior educational organisation.
What if my prior study is not listed?
You should still apply to have your prior study recognised via our Advanced Standing process even if your previous qualification/course is NOT listed in the documents and on the basis of:
- partially completed studies (formal and non-formal learning); or
- learning resulting from work, social, family, hobby or leisure activities (in-formal learning).
What is the Advanced Standing process at SCU?
