Mike Fraser and Brayden Maynard and Professor Elizabeth Roberts
Twin Towns Services Club representative Mike Fraser and Brayden Maynard and Professor Elizabeth Roberts, Head of School of Business and Tourism at SCU.

As a recipient of the Twin Towns Services Club Scholarship, my experience as a Southern Cross University student has been all the more rewarding and enjoyable. An amalgamation of work, study and a social life are important to the lives of university students. I could not express how appreciative I am for the support that I have received throughout my learning, as this opportunity has markedly alleviated the mental, social and working stress that can mount up for tertiary students. Having completed my first session of study in the Bachelor of Social Welfare at Southern Cross University, the Twin Towns Services Club Scholarship has allowed for me to focus integrally on my education. The Twin Towns Services Club Scholarship has ensured my attendance to each of these facets of life and greatly improved my motivation to achieve the best results that I can. The avenues of support made available through the Southern Cross University scholarship program have permitted the peace of mind and security of knowing that I have opportunities to hear the advice and opinions of those who are able to guide and assist me through my learning experience. I am incredibly thankful of the Twin Towns Services Club and Southern Cross University for the opportunities they have afforded me through the scholarship program. I hope that through my motivation and willingness to achieve the best results that I can, that I will be able to justify the faith that they have shown in me.
