Early Career Researcher Development Program
Southern Cross University is establishing an Early Career Researcher (ECR) Development Program to provide mentoring and development opportunities in order to enhance the research career prospects of our rising research leaders. It will be open to a cohort of competitively selected Early Career Researchers from all disciplines across the University.
About the Program
The program is aimed at academics in the early stages of their research careers who are seeking opportunities for strategic career planning and skill development in the area of academic research. The program will be concentrating on the development of ARC grant writing skills, and other research skills, and therefore those academics who wish to advance their career in the scholarship of teaching will find other programs more suitable.
An Early Career Researcher (ECR) is defined (for the purposes of this program) as a member of the academic staff who has been appointed at Lecturer A6 or above with a doctorate awarded within the last five years (ie, since January 2011).
Applications for the 2016 program are closed.
