Troy Eady - Physiotherapist
Ba App Sc (Physiotherapy), Dip App Sc (Nursing)
I have been a private practice Physiotherapist for more than 20 years. In this time, I have worked with numerous national sporting teams across a number of sports including the NRL, ARU, the Nutri-Grain Ironman Series and consultant Physiotherapist to NAISDA (National Aboriginal and Islander Dance Academy).
For the past 17 years I have travelled as the Australian Lifesaving Team Physiotherapist retiring from travel just last year, and remaining the Physiotherapist consultant to the NSW SLS High Performance Elite Athlete Program.
Professionally, my focus is musculoskeletal, sports and occupational Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapist, I am an expert of movement, biomechanical and postural analysis, identifying the cause for dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system.
My professional experience is general community private practice with a focus on youth and occupational injuries. I have always worked closely with other health professionals in multidiscipline teams, to achieve the best outcome for a client, and believe by providing the tools to empower a person to manage their injury or dysfunction, we are achieving a better long-term result.
I am a NSW & Queensland Work Cover approved provider, registered provider for DVA & EPC, and approved provider of Physiotherapy for Private Health funds.
