The School of Health and Human Sciences Honours degrees are a separate fourth year of study, which may be undertaken following the successful completion of an undergraduate degree. Honours degrees are designed to provide the groundwork or foundation for an understanding of the process of conducting research. The principal purpose of Honours courses is to help students develop skills and interests in independent research. Honours courses comprises of research leading to the completion of a thesis based upon original work. Students who have completed a relevant degree with a credit average or higher, can be eligible to study a Honours degree.
