The Capstone Editing Conference Travel Grant for Postgraduate Research Students $3,000 for one postgrad student per year to assist in covering the costs of attending a conference in relation to their degree.Applications are open from 1 July to 1 June every year. The grant will be awarded on 30 June every year, with the recipient chosen from among the applicants from the previous 12 months. A PhD scholarship for the Australian Solar Thermal Research Initiative (ASTRI) in the priority area of economic modelling of central receiver concentrating solar thermal tower systems. ASTRI is supported by the Australian Government, through the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA)

Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships

All Universities were advised of a change to the Guidelines for 2017 Commonwealth Scholarships (Research) changed as at the 30 September 2016. Southern Cross University is undergoing a review of the currently published Conditions of Award for all 2017 Commonwealth Scholarships in view of these changes, and we will update the conditions of award as soon as possible.

Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships Stipend Scholarships.

These scholarships provide a living allowance of approximately AUD $27,082 (effective 1 January 2018, indexed annually) per annum; paid as a fortnightly stipend.

Selection criteria is currently under review for this scholarship but will be advertised here prior to the opening of the Scholarship round on 1st September 2017. The 2017 Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships Stipend round closes on the 31 October 2017.

The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships Stipend may be held for up to two years for a research masters program and up to three years for a doctoral program.

Applications will be made available at the opening of the scholarship round on 1 September 2017

The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships International Fee Offset is available to international applicants only.

Selection criteria is currently under review for this scholarship but will be advertised here prior to the opening of the Scholarship round on 1st September 2017.
