Inbound Exchange - How to Apply

Check with your home institution and request approval to take part in the Exchange program at SCU. Visit our Exchange Partner University page, to see if your institution is listed.

Entry requirements

  • Successfully completed a year of study at a Higher Education Institution with GPA of 2.5 or 60% or equivalent
  • Students from Institution teaching in Languages, must have English language* comparable to:
English TestBand
IELTS
International English Language Testing System
6.0 with no band less than 5.5
TOEFL PBT
Test of English as a Foreign Language - paper based test
550 min 4.5 (TWE)
TOEFL iBT
Test of English as a Foreign Language - internet-based test
60
*English language results must have been achieved within the last two years.


  • Students from some European countries may provide secondary school English results in support of their English proficiency as follows:

Applications are submitted online. Before starting the online application, make sure you have the documents from your institution available. If you have not been nominated by your home institution, please complete the Exchange Approval Form and have it signed by your home institution and return to studyabroad@scu.edu.au
