Research interests / background:

  • Interest in the effect of inundation and fire regimes on surface water, pore water and soil geochemistry in Fe and organic rich acid sulfate soil material,
  • Currently employed as a technical officer with Industry and Investment NSW Primary Industries Science and Research Division,
  • Recently completed projects in Hydrological effects of floodgate management on coastal floodplain agriculture, Wetland grazing management, and Hydraulic conductivity assessment of coastal floodplain wetland areas on the north coast of NSW,
  • Past experience in soybean nodulation and nutrition, pasture and cropping grazing systems, sugar cane fertiliser and soil management trials.
