Year 12 students

This page contains information about SCU STAR Early Entry for year 12 students. School principals and careers advisers/guidance officers should refer to SCU STAR Early Entry recommendation guide page.

For more information about our courses and where they are offered, visit course options and refer to the undergraduate course list.

What are the benefits of SCU STAR Early Entry

Successful SCU STAR Early Entry applicants will receive their offer to Southern Cross University ahead of the crowd. You won't need to wait to find out your Year 12 results before you start making plans for university. SCU will notify Queensland students in mid-October and New South Wales students in mid-November of the outcome of their application. You can get in ahead of everyone else to organise all the things you need to make your transition to university as smooth as possible. There are no fees associated with your SCU STAR Early Entry registration.

Can I apply for all SCU courses through SCU STAR Early Entry?

Most SCU undergraduate courses are available through STAR. There are some exceptions - the Bachelor of Midwifery and our Education degrees. Applications for these courses can be made via UAC or QTAC.
