Recycling and Waste

Comprehensive waste management is a key aspect of the sustainable vision at Southern Cross. The University has engaged in implementing a standardised waste and recycling system.

Please take notice of signage when choosing the correct bin for disposal of your garbage and recycling and note that recycling schemes differ across our campuses due to the capability of local waste management services and facilities. Choosing the right bin can significantly reduce the amount of potentially recyclable materials going to landfill unnecessarily. Your co-operation in choosing the right bin is much appreciated.
