Research Workshop for Women

The Research Workshop for Women is part of SCU's Development Program for Women strategy.

The workshop features presentations from accomplished SCU women researchers on how they developed their research careers, strategies and tips on how to establish your research career and a small group activity around the process of framing your research plan. It will also provide a valuable opportunity to meet and network with other SCU women researchers.

All women academics and PhD students are welcome to attend, particularly those who are in the early stages of developing a research career.

The workshop is held annually. The next workshop will be held on Tuesday 5 July 2016, 9.45am - 3.30pm in the Manning Clark Room, Learning Centre, Lismore campus. The facilitator will be Dr Kath Fisher, School of Education and Professor Geraldine Mackenzie, DVC (Research) will give the opening address.

"I feel inspired to take that next step into my research career", "Great to meet women from different parts of the university", "Loved it, thank you!" (participant feedback, 2015)
