Creative Arts Showcase

This showcase brings together examples of works from students in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Southern Cross University undertaking studies in:

Lismore campus is home to the School's creative and performing arts degrees, providing a rich cultural hub in a region renowned for its dynamic arts and music scene. The on-campus environment nurtures and inspires creativity. Lecturers who are practising musicians, artists and writers are well-connected within their industries and dedicated to supporting students to succeed in their chosen discipline.

Students access specialist studios, equipment and the latest software. Purpose-built facilities include the professional production house, Studio One29 performance and exhibition space; recording facilities; multi-camera television studio; digital art and design lab; and visual arts studios for printing, painting, drawing and three-dimensional studies such as ceramics and bronze casting.

Students undertake industry placements for work experience, which helps them to establish networks and contacts. They also engage in on-campus and local events and activities by exhibiting, performing, filming, recording and publishing.
